Team Lead – Payment Posting

As a Payment Posting Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of payment posting associates. Your primary goal is to ensure the timely and accurate posting of payments to patient accounts while maintaining high-quality standards and productivity.

Education: Any Graduate

Compensation: Up to 6 Lakh per annum

Responsibilities

Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of payment posting associates.
Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure deadlines are met.
Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members.
Address team issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
Continuously analyze and improve payment posting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce errors.
Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Conduct regular quality audits and identify areas for improvement.
Implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
Oversee the denial management process, including identifying trends and implementing strategies to reduce denials.
Work with insurance companies to resolve payment issues and appeal denied claims.
Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of patient accounts.
Identify and resolve discrepancies between patient statements and system records.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other industry standards.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Skills/Experience

Strong leadership and team management skills.
Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, particularly payment posting.
Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in using healthcare software systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
