Associate – Medical Billing
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Medical Billing to join our team. This role involves handling various aspects of the medical billing process for US healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance guidelines, and billing codes.

Education: Any Graduate
Compensation: Up to 4 Lakh per annum
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and submit medical claims to various insurance carriers.
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits.
- Ensure timely and accurate claim submissions.
- Monitor claim status and follow up with insurance carriers for timely payment.
- Research and resolve claim denials and rejections.
- Appeal denied claims as required.
- Post payments from insurance carriers and patient payments to patient accounts.
- Reconcile daily payment reports.
- Manage and resolve outstanding balances.
- Contact patients or insurance companies to collect outstanding payments.
- Accurately input patient demographic and insurance information into the billing system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills/Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in medical billing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines and regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
